Goodwood Station Social Housing Development project
DCI Community Housing Services (DCI CHS) has secured the development rights awarded by PRASA (Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa) for the development of their land around Heideveld and Goodwood and Goodwood stations. This was guided by bringing people closer to the Transport Oriented node. As part of the proposal call, DCI CHS presented a concept development plan for each of the areas. The majority of the development opportunities related to mixed use and residential developments. RCG approval by SHRA for Heideveld and Goodwood was reached in December 2017.
Our housing development concept is to act as a SHI and hold the units for rental for a long period.
